Caribbean Airlines provided baggage assistance to a 4-member team of linesmen from the Grenada Electricity Services Ltd (Grenlec) who recently traveled to Abaco Bahamas to assist in restoring electricity on the island.

Hurricane Dorian devastated the island of Bahamas and neighboring communities when it landed as a category 5 Atlantic hurricane on September 01, 2019.

Bahamians remain thankful and appreciative of any assistance rendered to help them rebuild their lives and restore critical infrastructure damaged by the hurricane.

Grenlec later thanked Caribbean Airlines for its support in a letter issued via email.  “Thank you for allowing our men to take an extra piece of luggage free of charge and all other assistance that were given, allowing for a smooth travel . We look forward to collaborating on other endeavors in the future. “
