Caribbean Airlines has donated more than 6,000 stationery items through its 2026 Annual Stationery Drive, made possible by the generous contributions of employees across the organisation.
The donated supplies were distributed to low-income single-parent families, charitable NGOs and children’s homes in communities served by the airline throughout the region.
The annual initiative forms part of Caribbean Airlines’ sustainability programme, where community outreach remains a key pillar.
A special donation was also made to Hope Children’s Home in Enmore, East Coast Demerara, Guyana, which recently suffered a devastating setback after a fire affected its facility. Employees personally visited the home to hand over the supplies.
Commenting on the initiative, Dion Inniss, Caribbean Airlines Sales Representative in Guyana, said: “Caribbean Airlines is pleased to support Hope Children’s Home during this difficult period. We understand the importance of ensuring that the children have the supplies they need to continue their education, particularly as the Home recovers from the devastating fire.”
He continued: “We extend our sincere thanks to staff members from various departments who generously contributed supplies to this initiative. Their kindness, generosity and commitment made this effort possible. It is our hope that this contribution will provide some comfort and assistance to the children and staff, and we remain committed to supporting the communities we serve.”
Special Needs Educator Ronita Samaroo, accepted the supplies on behalf of the Hope institution.
Other charitable entities and organisations that benefited from the airline’s back-to-school drive included Elevate Education TT, The Dotted Line Foundation, Hampers Inc., Buccoo Government Primary School and Re Promotions Charity in Tobago. School supplies were also shipped to Jamaica for distribution.
