Caribbean Career EXPO 2023

Caribbean Airlines successfully launched its first annual Career Expo on Thursday November 09th and 10th 2023, attracting close to 3000  students from 69 secondary schools across Trinidad.

The  event was held at the National Racquet Sport Centre, Orange Grove Road, Tacarigua and ran from 9am -3pm on both days.

Over  30 stakeholders representing various companies/institutions  engaged with tomorrow’s future leaders, many of them eager to find out about career opportunities on the market.

On arrival registered students were provided with  “mimic passports” which gave them the chance to win two airline tickets to a destination within the  airline’s network.

The students  were   delighted to meet Caribbean Airlines CEO Garvin Medera for the first time and were also eager to have him stamp their  “mimic passports”

Several of the airline’s staff members also took time out from their busy schedules to volunteer at the event and had a great time interacting with the young people who were positively impacted  by the experience.

Scores of students flocked to the airline’s booth to find out about career opportunities in aviation. Some lucky young people also won branded tokens; in photo right Diedre Duberry, Caribbean Airlines Reservations Manager awards a token to one of the winning students.

The young people were also delighted to meet renowned media personalities James Saunders and Mark Bassant from One Caribbean Media Limited (OCM),  one of the many companies participating in the two-day expo.
