For the second year in a row , Caribbean Airlines participated in the University of Guyana’s(UG) Open Day and Job Fair, connecting with students at the Turkeyen Campus on March 7–8, 2025.
Staff attached to the airline’s hub in Trinidad and Guyana attended the event where they shared firsthand insights into careers in aviation, offered guidance on pathways into the industry and details about career options in the airline industry.
Our booth quickly became a hub of excitement as students stopped by to try out our airplane flight simulator, which proved to be a major hit at the event.
Students also eagerly participated in our interactive trivia challenge, testing their knowledge of Caribbean Airlines for a chance to win branded prizes. Scores of participants walked away ,not only with exciting giveaways, but with a greater understanding of potential career paths in aviation.
Caribbean Airlines has a robust career outreach programme and this is a key pillar in its overall sustainability programme. The airline was therefore delighted to participate in UG’s Open Day and Job fair as this further underscores the air carrier’s commitment to education as well as to empowering the next generation and fostering talent across the region.
