On Wednesday January 29 our Caribbean Career Caravan rolled into St Lucia and had an exciting time interacting with close to 1,000 students attending various secondary schools on the island.
Our team created history given that it was the very first time that the airline was hosting its career caravan in St Lucia, known for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and resorts.
The initiative, held in collaboration with the 1st National Bank St Lucia Limited and the St. Lucia Hospitality& Tourism Association (SLHTA), aimed to expose tomorrow’s future leaders to career options in aviation and also the banking and tourism sectors.
Over a three-day period ( Wednesday 29- Friday 31 January ) our Caribbean Team and partners interacted with students attending the following schools:
-
Castries Comprehensive Secondary School
-
Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School (Castries)
-
Babonneau Secondary School
-
St. Lucia TVET Institute- School of Sustainable Agriculture and Culinary Arts- Dennery
-
Beanefield Comprehensive Secondary (Vieux Fort)
-
Micoud Secondary School
Two lucky students attending Castries Comprehensive and Beanefield Comprehensive Secondary each walked away with two return prize tickets for travel into Dominica and Barbados , courtesy the airline.
Caribbean Airlines expresses sincere thanks to the educators and students who warmly welcomed our team to their schools and also to our valued stakeholders who partnered with us to make our first Caribbean Career Caravan in St Lucia a success!
