On January 22 and 23, a team from Caribbean Airlines’ Corporate Communications Department attended the Green Infrastructure Conference 2025, held at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business.
The two-day conference,  which was hosted in conjunction with IAMovement and the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC), brought together industry experts and sustainability advocates to discuss financing for green infrastructure projects through green bonds and carbon credits.
Additionally, through engaging panel discussions and presentations, our team also gained valuable insights into the evolving landscape of sustainable business practices in Trinidad and Tobago.
Participants also had the opportunity to tour the Orange Grove Composting Facility, where they observed large-scale organic waste management in action, and visited Vetiver TT’s Trincity project site to learn how vetiver grass is being used for erosion control and land rehabilitation.
Moreover, the Green Infrastructure Conference  facilitated key networking which made it possible for many eco-friendly NGO’s and businesses, not only to  connect, but to explore various ways of  integrating sustainability into their  business practices , so as to  drive positive environmental change and social impact.
