Caribbean Airlines partners with local charity - HOAM
Hope of a Miracle Foundation and its Children’s Health Programme offers financial assistance to sick children from Trinidad and Tobago, assisting with obtaining medical treatment/surgeries abroad when it’s not available locally. Since its formation in 2006 the Foundation has helped with more than 140 surgeries and treatments, when not available locally.

Children are one of the most vulnerable groups in our society and Caribbean airlines is doing its part to help, particularly in cases where they are in need of medical attention abroad and require travel assistance.
The Hope of a Miracle Foundation, is one of the charity based organizations that the airline has partnered with over the years to assist with the transportation of sick children , requiring further medical care in the United States or Canada.
President of The Foundation, Cindy Schutters in expressing gratitude to the airline for its support over the years said:
“Caribbean Airlines has consistently supported Hope of a Miracle Foundation, offering travel assistance to sick children needing to travel abroad for much needed surgeries. This has helped to bring great financial relief to the parents of these children .”

Ms. Schutters also said that the Foundation “conducts complete and concise due diligence on each case that is presented to us to ensure the legitimacy of the case and the financial need.”
In March 2006, Hispanic Women in Trinidad & Tobago launched its Children’s Health Program called Hope of a Miracle Foundation (HOAM) through a press conference, with the support and assistance of International Kids Fund, a Program of the Jackson Memorial Foundation, Miami. From the beginning, the Foundation has pursued a strategy that ensured the success of its efforts by actively seeking out Hospitals capable of working effectively with a Foundation such as ours
