The band was invited by the Ontario Steelband Association to be a part of   2024 celebrations. Kickstarting on 01 August, the band had the opportunity to perform in a number of key events inclusive of  ‘Pan Alive’, a flagship event which mirrors Trinidad and Tobago’s Panorama, ‘Pan on D Road’ and Pan in D’ Park, thrilling audiences with their vibrant performances and making history as the first local band to perform at ‘Pan Alive Panorama’ in 15 years.

The band also recognized and honoured Trinidad and Tobago – the birthplace of steelpan-  during ‘World Steel Pan Day’ on August 11, showcasing the island’s rich heritage and culture with their performances, much to the delight of their audiences.

The management of Supernovas praised Caribbean Airlines for providing much needed travel support to the band and further commended the airline for the active  role it has been playing to support and promote culture across the region and diaspora, as part of its “Welcome Home” campaign.
