Our Caribbean Career Caravan rolled into St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during May 07-09th , where our team engaged with close to 1,000 students from eight secondary schools over a three-day period.
This marked yet another historic milestone for Caribbean Airlines which successfully debuted its career caravan in yet another one of its island destinations for 2025 (Click to read about our Caravan to St Lucia here). Our team received a warm welcome home to SVG, known for its generous hospitality, natural beauty, cultural attractions, and stunning landscapes.
The air carrier’s career outreach initiative is a cornerstone of its sustainability programme’s Education pillar, which prioritizes education, mentorship, development, and empowerment of students/young adults. Since the programme’s inception in 2016, the initiative has positively impacted over 80,000 students and counting!
Thanks to the support of key local stakeholders the introduction of our Caribbean Career Caravan into SVG was also a tremendous success.
The airline strategically collaborated with stakeholders like the Bequia Plantation Hotel, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Rural Transformation, Sandals SVG, Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union Ltd (KCCU), and the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture who joined forces with our team to share about career opportunities in aviation, agriculture, finance, hospitality, tourism and sustainability with select students attending the following secondary schools:
