Before you take the time to submit a sponsorship request, please read through these FAQs to get answers to some of the more commonly asked questions.

What events/initiatives are considered for Sponsorship ?

Caribbean Airlines considers sponsorship of events and initiatives which provide the airline the opportunity to:

  • Communicate our brand values
  • Increase awareness of the destinations to which we fly
  • Generate revenue (in the case of Marketing sponsorships)
  • Delight our customers and engage potential customers
  • Build on key stakeholder relationships
  • Contribute to local economic development
  • Invest in people and their communities

How do I apply for sponsorship?

Apply for sponsorship in 5 easy steps online:

  2. Fill out the displayed online form
  3. Upload supporting documents
  4. Receive acknowledgment of receipt email
  5. Wait 30 business days for feedback

What can Caribbean Airlines provide as sponsorship?

Caribbean Airlines provides in-kind and travel support for charitable causes and events that align with our strategic goals. Each sponsorship request is reviewed and scored based on its own merit. Caribbean Airlines reserves the right to offer sponsorship in a form that best suits the strategic objectives of the airline at the time of the event/project.

What would Caribbean Airlines request in exchange for sponsorship?

All approved sponsorships are done in exchange for brand visibility, advertising opportunities and engagement with communities, customers and employees. We also provide our logo for you to use in promoting your event on flyers, T-shirts, websites, banners etc. Applicants are advised to use our logo only if you receive a confirmation of sponsorship.

Does Caribbean Airlines offer sponsorship for medical travel?

Yes Caribbean Airlines supports travel for medical reasons, particularly if the medical care is not available in your home country.

Persons applying for travel assistance due to medical reasons are required to provide the following:

  • original documentation of set appointments from the medical institution
  • documentation of a local practitioner’s recommendation for treatment abroad
  • Financial statements to show the need for assistance

Medical missions and volunteer groups must also provide relevant documentation to support their applications

What if you have received sponsorship from Caribbean Airlines in the past?

If you have received sponsorship before, it does not mean that you automatically qualify.  Each application is reviewed on a case by case basis and priority is given to applications which align to our CSR pillars and based on the availability of our finite resources.

 

How long does it take to get feedback on a submitted request?

Once a proposal has been submitted, an acknowledgement email will be sent to your inbox.  We will respond to all proposals within 30 business days. Due to the number of proposals we receive, all requests must be submitted at least three (3) months prior to the start date of your programme, for consideration.

If an application for sponsorship is declined, can the applicant request a second review of their proposal?

Caribbean Airlines has a dedicated team of professionals who review each application, and the airline reserves the right to grant or deny any sponsorship at its discretion.
