Caribbean Airlines Limited was delighted to participate in the grand celebration of Divali for yet another year, underscoring the airline’s continued support for culture.
The event was held earlier in November at the annual Divali Nagar exposition, located at the National Council of Indian Culture of Trinidad and Tobago (NCIC), Divali Nagar site in Chagaunas, Trinidad.
Commenting on the airline’s participation at the event, CEO Garvin Medera stated: “We are pleased to join in the celebration of Divali as part of our country and region’s rich and diverse culture. “
He continued : “Divali is a beautiful festival that signifies the triumph of light over darkness, and we are happy to be a part of this celebration. Festivals like Divali are integral to our people and to what makes the Caribbean home to so many of us.”
Mr. Teemal, President of the NCIC who also commented said: “The NCIC is indeed happy to have Caribbean Airlines as part of Divali Nagar 2023. This signals the commitment of Caribbean Airlines to the promotion of culture in Trinidad & Tobago and their intent to honour their corporate social responsibility to the nation.”
In support of the festival the airline contributed two airline tickets as a main prize at the Divali Nagar stage show recently .
