"Caribbean Beat Magazines are a great resource for Secondary Schools across T&T"
NALIS has expressed sincere gratitude to Caribbean Airlines for donating 46 boxes of Caribbean Beat magazines recently.
According to Primatie Persad, Director, Educational Library Services Division (Ag) “the magazines will will be distributed throughout the secondary school system, the public library network and the Heritage library. The content will be useful for our diverse patrons throughout the NALIS network.”
Persad was full of praise about the rich content produced in the pages of the inflight magazines available for free to customers who travel on Caribbean Airlines.
She added: “These magazines contain historical, cultural and geographical West Indian information. The content from these information resources will provide relevant information to support the school’s curriculum, students’ research projects, School Based Assessments (SBAs) and Internal Assessments (IAs).”
Caribbean Airlines also made a large donation of other Issues of Caribbean Beat magazines in 2019 to NALIS, which were also distributed throughout the secondary school system.
