Many young people from Point Fortin and its environs turned out at the event
The Caribbean School tour Caravan rolled into Point Fortin on July 07 to participate in the community’s second Annual Youth Career Fair and Job Expo.
Scores of young people and other members of the Public attended the event, which was hosted at the Point Fortin South West Regional Indoor Sporting Facility in Trinidad, from 9am -3pm.
The initiative aimed to provide awareness and career guidance , as well as showcase opportunities for employment to young people and other members of the community “to aid in their future career path,” Kennedy K. Richards Jr, Member of Parliament for Point Fortin who spearheaded the initiative, said in a statement. Richards ( seen in left photo below, centre) is also employed as a First Officer with Caribbean Airlines.
Our team members, which also included Yolandra John, Flight Attendant, and Victoria Alexander, Information Services Analyst, had a great time interacting with the youths and other members of the public who were eager to learn about job opportunities in the aviation industry.
