Thanks to its generous employees Caribbean Airlines donated over 230 toys, brightening the holiday season for some children in need.
The toys were distributed to a number of community based organisations which partnered with the airline to deliver the toys to children in various communities across Trinidad and Tobago as well as in Guyana.
In commenting Dionne Ligoure Caribbean Airlines Executive Manager of Corporate Communications and Co-chair of the airline’s Sustainability Committee said: “I sincerely thank my colleagues who contributed to our company’s annual toy drive. Their generosity ensured we were able to share some joy and cheer for another year to children in need.”
She continued: “This annual toy drive is just one of the many initiatives Caribbean Airlines has implemented to positively impact communities in the destinations we serve; its all part of our ongoing sustainability programme where we invest in people and communities.”
Not-for-profit Organisations benefitting from airline’s annual toy drive this year included:
- The North Coast Sports Academy
- Thunderbirds Sports and Cultural Club -Food Kingdom
- The Wendy Francis Foundation
- Sue’s Collection and Friends
- The Probation hostel for teens in Tobago and
- The Hope Children’s Home in Guyana
