Caribbean Airlines fully endorses the United Nation Children Fund’s ( UNICEF) Mental Health Workbook and website which provides much needed information and tools designed to help young people in particular, treat with mental health challenges.
The workbook and website was officially launched on May 08, at the Office of the Prime Minister’s St.Clair office, Port-of-Spain Trinidad, signaling the immediate availability of online and hard copy mental health resources specially tailored for children and youth in T&T.
“There is always hope. Help is always available. We will always build up our children and create the space for them to be happy, healthy and meaningful contributors to national development,” the Honourable Ayana Webster-Roy, Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs , was quoted as saying in a media release disseminated by her office.

As a sponsor partner Caribbean Airlines was invited to the event, and its Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Martin Aeberli delivered brief remarks.
Mr. Aeberli was full of praise for the initiative pointing out that the project resonated with the airline’s sustainability programme built around education, community and wellness . He further reiterated the regional air carriers’ commitment to assist in the regional distribution of the workbook to its clients.

We extend hearty congratulations to UNICEF and the young people from across 17 Caribbean countries on the successful production of the mental health workbook and website,”Mr. Aeberli said.

The airline also hosted a booth at the event where its team members interacted with students and other members of the public, providing giveaways and branded tokens, much to their delight.
